Sherman Stewart
Owner & Monumental Stone Artist

Sherman Stewart was born 1982, in Edmonton, Alberta. During his childhood, he was adopted and moved with his adoptive parents to Lheidli T’enneh territory. Over time, Sherman became a member of the Lheidli T’enneh band and lived on the reserve near the river intermittently. His work experiences have taken him throughout British Columbia and Alberta over the years.

Before finding his passion in stone masonry, Sherman Stewart held a variety of jobs. Once he discovered his interest in the stone masonry trade, he dedicated himself to the craft, amassing twenty years of experience as a stone mason, mason, stucco specialist, and exterior contractor. For the past fourteen years, he has owned and operated Stewart’s Stone and Stucco, working as an independent business owner.

Seeking a better balance between his professional and personal life, Sherman Stewart transitioned to the monument industry. This change allows him to spend more time at home by working primarily from his shop. He is dedicated to supporting his community, especially through helping families with the respectful interment of their loved ones.
